Pink out T-shirt sale extended through this Sunday, September 15th The HS & MS cheer teams are having their annual pink out t-shirt sale. Last year we were able to donate over $3100 to www.thepinkfund.org. We chose this non-profit because they donate the funds to local Michigan women who are fighting breast cancer. Anyone can apply to the link provided above. Every year we highlight a breast cancer survivor and this year we are spreading awareness with TEAM CALLAHAN on the back of our shirts. Again, our profits do not go directly to an individual as the school board has approved donations to only go to a non-profit company. Shirts will be dark pink in color with white/black writing. They are $12 each for youth to size adult XL. Please add $2/2XL, $3/3XL, and $4/4XL. Thank you to all the community members who set up tables for our health & wellness fair! We had a great turn out for Open House! Both parents and students are ready for a great 2024-2025 school year at North Elementary! The teachers had their rooms decorated nicely and ready for families. Kudos to the entire staff.

Good afternoon! We are excited to see everyone at Open House tonight which is from 5:00-6:30. We do have a bit of unexpected maintenance construction happening in the 2nd grade main hallway. Due to this, we are asking that you enter the building closest to your child's classroom. Preschool: No Open House Kindergarten/First Grade: use door labeled 2 which is the K/1 door (the same door as the one you will use in the morning) or door 1 which is the main office entrance if your child typically rides the bus 2nd Grade (all classes except for Mrs. Schaeff): use door 1 which is the main office entrance (the same door as the one you will use in the morning) 2nd Grade Mrs. Schaeff ONLY: use door labeled 5 which is the 3rd/4th entrance for the drop off/pick up area 3rd/4th Grade: use door labeled 5 which is the 3rd/4th entrance for the drop off/pick up area We still want everyone to enjoy the Health & Wellness Fair which will be going on in the cafeteria. For our classrooms located down the 4th grade/Mrs. Schaeff/3rd Grade hallway, you can still get to the cafeteria by exiting out the playground doors, and entering the fair at the cafeteria doors like the kids use for recess time. We are working hard to finish our construction project prior to the kids returning for the school year. Please keep your children with you during Open House. A huge thank you to all of the parents and students who participated in this summer's ST Math Summer Challenge! We all had a lot of fun and hopefully the students enjoyed their celebration at the Splash Pad and the Great Lakes Loons Game. This could not have been done without all of the wonderful donations from the community! A big thank you to Ms. Keipert for all of her hardwork organizing prizes and making the program fun.
